Benedikt,
I have never come across the HH80! Still, I have found out the difference between the HH80 & HH80A:
"The HH80 has a metal strap, the HH80a has a canvas strap and the sensitivity is accessible on the back of the unit via a small screw. The HH80 has the sensitivity adjustment screw but it's housed inside the unit making it necessary to take the thing apart to adjust it. I just turn it all the way up. Other than that they're identical."
I have downloaded the manual but that doesn't help.
The DTXpress manual suggests it should work and there are no settings for the HH pedal - if it is the right type it will work, if not it won't.
You have two possibilities - either the HH80 doesn't work or the settings are way off.
I assume you have used a stereo cable?
If you have access to a multimeter to measure resistance, you could check the pedal is working - check the resistance between the tip and sleeve while moving the pedal.
If not, I would suggest you may need to try the settings - both on the pedal itself and in the module. In the module it is "HH Sensitivity" and "HH Offset" that you need to try. Once you get the open & closed working, the "HH Time" will need adjusting to get foot splashes.
Keith.

When I press the pedal down, no foot chick sound is triggered and when I hit my HH-pad and move the pedal, always the open HH sound is triggered. Are there any settings to be changed when moving from HH60 to a HH80 controller? Or does only the HH80A controller work for the DTXpress? (BTW what is the Difference between HH80 and HH80A?)
