Copying drumkit

Copying drumkit

2015-08-19 by jaguaero@...

Hi fellow drummers,

I have a gig coming up where I need to use 3 different kits. The problem is these kits are spaced out like Hip Hop Funky (#19), Latin percussion (#15) and traditional drum kit.

I am trying to copy these kits into the custom kits at the end after drum kit#49 in sequence so I can switch them easily. I have done this in the past and now I can seem to figure out how to do it. I looked up the manual and I am little lost on where I can find that info. Please help!!!

Re: [DTXpress] Copying drumkit

no it doesnt show first available
it shows the kit number that is active
as
this is same command to use to save any customized drum kits
so
you just enter whatever kit number 49-80 you want
so
this is how you also put the three sets in order
as
you will save them in consecutive slots

There used to be some PC-based software that allowed you to backup and edit kits. I thought it was located at the "www.dtxpressions.com" web site which is mentioned in this groups site definition. It appears that this site is now in all Japanese and doesn't even relate to the DTXpress.

Does anyone know if this software is available elsewhere?

Thanks.

Thanks,

That makes sense. So by overwriting you are also deleting if that is what you want to do I guess. Need to then first find out which empty/existing custom kit I need to use after 49, then execute the copy.

Re: [DTXpress] Re: PC-based software to backup and edit kits.

I had used 2 software packages in the distant past: dEXTD and DTXchange. Both these were very intuitive and visual oriented.

The version of dEXTD I have, stated it was for DTXpress 2. So I'm not sure of support for new versions of the kit.
There is another site which still exists and may be helpful .... http://www.dtxperience.com
