dtx with isis soundcard

2001-12-30 by efp44fr

hello all,
If anyone is interested : I use a DTXpress with an ISIS soundcard and
I've just finished making a 94b soundbank with Beatles sounds taken
off CDs (Ringo's drumming).
If you're not too keen on perfection (I mean my technical
perfection), it's nice and funny.

Also, someone mentioned a SoundDiver adaptation for the DTXpress some
time ago. I'd love to test it.

Bonjour Erick!
I am working on the SoundDiver adaptation, but its going slowly - the
holidays etc. Its also quite a tedious task, so I don't always have
the enthusiasm for it I should have. I may have something very rough
in the next two weeks or so. Fingers crossed!
cheers

Hello Tom,

thx for the quick reply. Great to hear you're working on it. Like someone
mentioned before "if I can give a hand...". Will it be compatible with all
versions of SD ?

I forgot to mention, about the Beatles soundbanks (94b for Isis soundcards),
that I also worked on a couple of sysex to go with it. The real Beatles
sound. Er... have I done something someone had done before ??

Erick,
I'll email you a rough version in a few days and you can play with it
and hunt the bugs - that's the best help you can give. I only have
ver 3 of SoundDiver, so that's the only one I can say the adapation
should work with, but it may work with ver2, but look funny. It won't
work with the OEM versions as they oly support a single device.
I've upgrade my Isis to a Creamware Luna, but I may give it another
look as a "sampler" to use with the DTXpress - then I'll check out
your 94b bank!
Back to the grind!
cheers
