The problem with the DTXpress volume can be rectified by using the correct headphones. When selecting headphones pick good quality with a low impedance. Using Ohms law the lower the impedance of the headphones the louder the volume. The majority of headphones out there today are 30 ohms or more. I found an excellent pair of Technics with an impedance of 10 ohms, these headphones are more than loud enough.
