hello from CT!
if someone would please help me; i'm stumped.
I've just added the Midiman 2x2 so I can track both my Roland s-10
MIDI-controlling kybrd (w/a KORG X5DR sound module) and DTXpress.
here's what i've got:
MIDI out from the s-10 into the snd module.
out from the module into in-A of the 2x2.

SEA: Nope.. MIDI out should go to one of the MIDI in's of your Midiman
interface.

out-A of the 2x2 into s-10 kybrd.

SEA: Correct, you should have a MIDI thru connection left on the S-10, this
goes to the MIDI in of the X5 module.

DTXpress out to in-B of 2x2.
out-B of 2x2 into DTXpress.

SEA: Again this is correct.

what am i doing wrong?
i chose the ports in PA9.
do i need to set something in the DTXpress? For example, MIDI
functions in the sound module only in GLOBAL MULTI mode. (what does
THAT mean anyway??!)

SEA: Can you be more specific? Are you talking about the DTX here, as I can
not find this in my manual.

SEA
thank you immensely for your help.
I rewired it and still had trouble but figured out that in MIDI ports
in PA9 the Yamamha CBX A Driver was highlighted b4 the MIDIsport and
needed to be vice-versa.

I apologise for leaving out one detail : I was referring to the X5DR
regarding the GLOBAL MULTI mode.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
