Hello, I am wondering if anyone is using, or has tried using a Hart Acusnare with the DTXpress? I am considering one, but I would like to know if anyone has any experience with this item first. Any input would be appreciated. Cary

I don't know about it but I know someone who might. Call drumworld in castle shannon and ask for Jim. He knows a good bit about electronic drums. The number is 412-343-2600. There is a 1-800 number on the website www.drumworld.com . That's where I go with questions. Hope this helps. -Joe --- chitsman <chitsman@...> wrote: > Hello, > > I am wondering if anyone is using, or has tried > using a Hart Acusnare > with the DTXpress? I believe just using the regular snare input will not work as it is expecting an FSR-type trigger for the rim. To make an Acupad work, you'd need to see if you can use a true dual-input arrangement which is typically labeled ##/## (I can't remember which one it is on the DTXpress offhand because I don't have one in front of me right now). You would then need to assign appropriate sounds for the head and rim to each input. Hope this makes sense... Ed ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Drumbalaya!
