Modifying the click

Modifying the click

2002-10-08 by David

I have a DTXpress 2 and followed the steps written in the manual about
changing the low, mid, and high click voices and found that I am unable to
make the click just one voice. The best I could do is two voices. Does anybody
know the answer?

I discovered a great product for drummers who have grown tired of the
programmed DTXpress songs. It is a CD called "Turn it up, Lay it down" and
has 25 hot bass tracks to play along with covering a variety of styles. Check it
out at rhythmtech.com I got mine at Guitar Center for $13.

Hi All,

The post below was written in 2002, unfortunately nobody replied so I
thought I'd repost and see if anyone could help. I'm getting the
nearly the same problem (although I'm using a DTX 3).

I want to make the click all one voice and volume. When I go into the
Utility mode/Click Group I can change the clk voiceset (metronome
etc) but when I page down to UT CLK VOICE I can't make any chnages.

I've followed (I think) the instructions on page 34 section 4.2 of
the reference manual but can't seem to make any changes. Does anyone
else have this problem?

Thanks
Paul

Paul,

I am sure you can do what you want - I have done it from time to time.

You need to change the UT CLK VOICESET to "User Voice" (section 4.1).
Then select the same voice (I use the woodblock sound), tuning and
volume for each of the three clicks.

Keith.
