HiHat-controler problems

HiHat-controler problems

2002-10-15 by bk452468

My first problems with my DTXpress 2. This morning all of a sudden
when I was selecting a new snaredrum in the voice menu my hihat
controler stopped keeping the hihat 'closed'. I can only pay with
open hihat now. 'Chick' sound and footsplashes are still possible and
give no problems. Is there a setting I might have accidentaly
altered? Or could it be that a lead of my stereocable broke or
something?

I hope you can help me otherwise I'll be going to the store and total
nitwit-salespeople will have to help me :-(

Regards,

Joep

Hi JoeP,

As strange as this sounds, try changing the kit number
you're using to another one, and then back to the
original one again. If you have't saved the changes,
this wipes them out. Then see if your HH works again.

Well it's working again but don't ask me how. I switched of the
module, and switched it on again. Still the same problems, on all the
kits. Then I switched it on again 5 minutes later and problem solved.
Weird.
