Yamaha DTXpress/DTXplorer/DTXtreme

I have the dual zone cymbal...can I set the edge of the cymbal 
for "crash" and the surface of the cymbal for "ride" or whatever.  
How can I get 2 distinctly different sounds from this pad...one 
sound for the rim, another for the surface...can this be done and 
HOW?...Thanx!!

Go into voice edit mode. Strike the rim. look at the display to make 
sure it says RIM. edit the voice.
