Question if you have a Pintech Vertikik

Question if you have a Pintech Vertikik

2002-12-16 by Jay Welch

Hello,
I just replaced my kick tower with the vertikik and so far I am pleased. It seems to be well built and sturdy. The only complaint is when the tower is struck hard it rings like a bell due to the metal vibrating. Anyone had this problem? If I put just a slight amount of pressure against the metal it will keep it from ringing. I am thinking about taping something to the tower to get rid of the ring. Any one had this problem?
Regards,
Jay

Hi Jay,

Yes, I had the same issue with mine before I traded
up. I think on mine the source was at the hinge
between the bottom plate and the upright plate. Walt

yeah ,
i had the same thing happen on both of mine, there are small allen
head screws on both sides of where the upright section meets the
plate ,and if you give them a slight more of a turn from just being
snug it solved the problem immediately

ps. how was the cruise walt??

Cruise was wonderful, and if anyone sails on Carnivals
Pride, check out the band on the Lido deck in the
afternoons - notice the DTXpress!!!
