Yamaha DTXpress/DTXplorer/DTXtreme

The type of deep bass sound I'm talking about sounds like the bass 
coming out of a subwoofer.  That deep explosive bass sound that you 
sometimes wanna slam into a song.  Is there anything like that 
available or is it possible to make it?  Thanks!

hell yeah, especially if you layer 2 sounds.  put a heavy kick on 
layer 1, then one of those sub sounds (found in the electronic kick 
category) on layer 2.  then, play with the eq/fc if you dare :)
