Yamaha DTXpress/DTXplorer/DTXtreme

Hi..I just purchased a DTXPRESS Kit off of Ebay and it should arrive 
in a few days. I was wondering. Can you route a cymbal or any trigger 
for that matter... out through a specific midi channel to your 
computer? Because if I can do that then I can use my Soundfonts with 
Cakewalk and have unlimited control. I'm not a drummer myself..but I 
purchased this for recording purposes here at my house with my band. 
And also to play out for our gigs. This DTXPRESS was also sold with a 
software program called "Stickmaster" for the pc. Supposed to teach 
you and interact with you in a fun way to help you learn drums. It 
also came with a Tommy Igoe "Getting Started On Drums" DVD. Plus "The 
Drum Set Crash Course" CD.  Thanks in advance for any help. :)

Hi Gary,

I noticed that no one has replied yet to your post. I'm not sure 
exactly what you're asking, but the module does have midi in/out, 
and many group members use cakewalk for sequencing. Hope that's all 
you needed.
