Subject: [DTXpress] Thanks S-E-A
Just wanted to say thanks for the info. I haven't tryed it yet but I
printed your info and I will use it when I do. I also have a Boss DR-
5 drum machine that's killer and I'm going to try some things with
that. It has a four track sequencer in it so that will also be
usefull. Once I get going with this I'll share it on DTexchange. If
you have any of your kits available on it let me know because you
seem to be very hip with this stuff and I'd like to check out some of
your work. Thanks again for your help and hopefully I can reciprocate.
Peace and Happy New Year, Mike

Well, thank you, glad it was useful.
Kit wise, I've downloaded a few from
http://www.thehearns.fsnet.co.uk/dtxpressions
I tend to edit these, and the pre-set kits to my own requirements.
I've added to my original kit, I've an extra 2 zone cymbal pad, a 2 zone
drum pad, and that cymbal bell thingy that sits on the ride pad.
I've a Roland Octapad as well, but its pads aren't of the rubberised type,
so rarely use it.
So as you see, any kit I would send you, would probably be no use to you.
Might upload a picture to the group's photo section one day.
As to being 'hip' with this stuff, well MIDI certainly, but as to the DTX
unit, there's other people on the group who know a darn site more than I do.
Sadly I'm not a great tubthumper either, I get by, nothing flashy..
That's the useful thing about this group, there's around 500 odd members, at
least someone should be able to answer a specific question.
Glad to be of service.
