Yamaha DTXpress/DTXplorer/DTXtreme

I was wondering if anyone has heard any rumours of Yamaha coming out 
with a 3-zone cymbal pad?  I was reading this month's Drummer 
magazine which had an article on the DTXPressII kit and mentioned 
that Yamaha was supposed to be coming out with this 3-zone cymbal pad 
in early 2003.

Apparently, the DTXPII manual even contains a reference to that 3-
zone cymbal pad somewhere (can someone verify?). I remember talking 
about it months ago, maybe with someone on this board. I'll bet that 
it makes its debut at the next big Yamaha product launch, which may 
be summer NAMM, hopefully with the replacement for the recently 
departed DTXtreme.

Hi Guys,

I was under the impression that the pcy65s could either have assigned 
3 voices or 2 voices and choke facility .
I will check this but it wont be to the weekend.
