"to host" cables

"to host" cables

2003-04-10 by Alex

Has anyone here used the special serial "to host" cables that
apparently are available to connect the DTXpress to a computer? How
were the results?

My rig did not come with one, but the manual shows three examples.
Surely they must make a USB version by now?

I have looked for this cable and have not found one. Anyone know
where to find one?

Is it worth it?

Alex

hey,
i found one awhile ago at my local music store (pianos & stuff)
but haven't really had the time to mess with it, but if you go into
a music store look where they have the midi cables, and the snake
cables for recording gear, that's where i found mine, and it was only
about $8.00 (on sale) regularly $12.50

you may also be able to find them online, mine is made by hosa
pianos & stuff actually has a website too so you may wanna check it
out at www.pnsmusic.com

hope this helps

ps. the identification #'s on the package from mine are as follows :
dbk-110 , db9(f)-din 8 (m) 10 ft. they have a few other types as
well.. they were all basically around the same cost though..
