Yamaha DTXpress/DTXplorer/DTXtreme

I know there is going to be a new module coming out at the end of 
the summer, but does this also mean new pads and cymbals from Yamaha 
as well?  Maybe a new rack?  I know we might get the three zone 
cymbal pad, but I wonder what else?

Chances are that with a module will come triggers and rack. But the 
details are a closely guarded secret. I've tried to penetrate more 
deeply into the fog with no luck so far, even so much as asking 
Yamaha for an advance order.

Ed, are you really getting one as soon as it comes out or were you 
just trying to get information?  If you are able to place an 
advanced order please buy me just the module! :)  Also, who did you 
call to get information?  I'm going to get my flity sis to call and 
see if we can get some details here!

I do intend to get it if by some strange quirk of fate I happen to 
swing an advance order. I have high expectations. On a lark, I 
simply dashed off an email to YCA support a couple of days ago in 
which I flattered Yamaha shamelessly. Since my first reply to you 
minutes ago, I actually got an email back saying that a Yamaha 
specialist will get in touch with me soon; they could have ignored 
my request but didn't. It will be interesting to see what happens. 
Your sister can try the numbers that we already know; they're good 
ones. I didn't want to impose on their good graces by asking 
the "wrong" question. Your sister, on the other hand, has nothing to 
lose. Ed Morin is probably in as good a position for Yamaha news as 
anyone; I got most of my information about the module in a 
conversation with him. But he could only knew so much himself.
