Can someone tell me where I can buy the little black L - rod that holds the dtxpress cymbals in a fixed position, so that they do not rotate on the stand? Thanks... -- J. Manfredi

Hey Jim, Long time no read. I hope you've been playing that Pintech/Xtreme rig all this time. I'd try drumbalaya.com first (by phone or email), which may have a few lying around, and then Drum Central Superstore, which I don't like for their prices and attitude, but they specialize in Yamaha. Ed, Thanks for the tip man! Drumblaya had the little sucker and will have it to me by Friday in time for a gig in Akron Ohio. I have been using the Xtreme/ Pintech setup weekly. Great little kit. Great sound & pretty darn nice feel for an E-kit! Take care man! Regards! Jim

Jim, Something that I have notice when emailing some websites that sell the PCY80S/PCY65S is that they say they do not come with the L-stabilizer. All PCY80S/PCY65S come from the factory with the L-stabilizer. Only the PCY65 is shipped without it. I know I saw this listed on one of the web sites for $18US. Couldn't bring myself to spend $36 plus s&h for the two PCY65 pads I have, so I just made ones for about two bucks. They probably would hold to alot of gigging, but they work just fine for me. Jim, Good to hear. Stay out of trouble in Akron, and say hi to Chrissie Hyndes (isn't she from there?). Call Yamaha@ 1-888-892-6242...the parts dept. person can tell you the part number, and if they have them in stock...you can buy directly from them, if the part wasn't discontinued. I bought a module mount and clamp from them. Drumbalaya has them for $17 (I think). I bought one from Walt, that he had had manufactured. Ask him if he has anymore. Stephen
