EDrum Candy Commercial (Twix?)

EDrum Candy Commercial (Twix?)

2003-04-28 by Vernon Graner

Ok, has anyone else seen the candy commercial where it has a guy with an
electronic kit playing some samples etc about a candy bar (Twix I think)?
It looks like a Yamaha setup, with a bunch of extra pads, and the pads
trigger sounds like "yum" and "crunchy" along with some neat contemporary
patterns the guy is laying down.

Of course it's in the standard "MTV quick cuts" mode so it's hard to see
exactly what equipment he's playing. Of course I was so busy with trying
to see the kit that I can't even remember the name of the candy he's
advertising, so I was wondering of any of u had see it? I've seen it on
TechTV here in Austin Tx, USA. Anyone else seen it? :)

It's Tony Verderosa (aka VFX), using a DTX v2.0 brain.

Cool stuff.

It's available on www.tonyverderosa.com

Yes, I saw it over the weekend. But like you said it happened so quickly,
but it did look like Yamaha dtxpress stuff.

I'm from Texas too and my friends and I have seen it. Theres an
overhead shot and you can see the dtx 2.0. After my friends saw his
setup they begged me to combine electronics and acoustics! I just
felt like having a twix...
