How do you go about making a T-Leg Assembly?

How do you go about making a T-Leg Assembly?

2003-05-02 by underneathheaven

Hey everybody! Does anyone know if drumbalaya carries the
neccessary parts to make a T-Leg? I just attached a 33 inch arm to
my set and I wanted to make it a little more stable with the extra
leg. Or has anyone ever made one even? Thanks!!

UNH,

I can give you an unqualified "yes," because Ed Morin has all my old
Yamaha T-legs.

You need a T-Fitting (TFG-150 #11592)-You can get it
from Drumbalaya....I got mine from them.

Almost forgot...you would have to buy another rack
pipe-one for the main leg, and one for the actual
foot...and don't forget rubber shoes for the actual
feet.

Re: [DTXpress] Re: How do you go about making a T-Leg Assembly?

The T clamp was $8, the "feet" was $6, the Std 1.5
inch tubing (1 ft. piece)-this sets on the floor
T<-upside down the 1 ft piece is the "top" of the
letter T----this piece was $7, and the Std. 1.5 tubing
for the straight piece of the T was $22. I still have
the clamps, 4' piece and some "feet" (these go on the
end of the bottom T piece on each side). I saved
these pieces for future use. I had to add a T to
mount my one brain on the rack to give it stability.
Hope this helps ya out, good buddy!
