Hi Pete, Sounds like a great idea. I was wondering when one of those would start. Some of us with Yamaha electronics have had difficulties integrating Hart equipment. The Hart ECII ride, the hats, and the Acusnare, in particular, have come up as trouble spots, though I recall that at least one member of this board has had a more favorable experience. At any rate, Hart apparently is aware of the problem, but has shown little interest in exploring it. Maybe your new group will have the opportunity to delve more deeply into it. Good luck. hopefully the group will be able to tackle issues like that, i also forgot to mention the URL, so here it is!! http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Hartdrums as well as all this i got a question regarding the dtx pad compatability. i'm seriously considering slashing out on a roland td- 8 as the brain for the hart kit. but i also would like to hook up a few of my dtxpress pads to my new kit and run them throught the td-8, is this possible? has anybody run yamaha pads through roland brains? cheers guys and thanks for the support ed - much appreciated pete --- In DTXpress@yahoogroups.com, "liberatusvirus" <liberatusvirus@y...> wrote: > Hi Pete, > > Sounds like a great idea. Pete, The rubber pads should work with the TD8, even if with a little tweaking. The basic piezo/FSR configuration doesn't vary much. Many people run Roland and Pintech rubber pads through Yamaha modules.
