Pre-eBay... Selling my kit

Pre-eBay... Selling my kit

2003-06-07 by Ratzo

Hi Guys and Girls,

I'm going to sell my DTXpress I (stereo) kit and amps and I thought
I'd put it up here first before I stuck it on eBay.

My kit as I said is a DTXpress I, but the latest incarnation with the
re-enforced rack and stereo inputs, TP80S snare and KP-60 kick trigger
(it works).

I have added a TP60 mono pad and have it mounted with a Yamaha CL-940
tom arm and a Gibraltar GRSSMC multi clamp.

I will include a Tama Iron Cobra Jr pedal with a Pearl Quad Beater on
it. As mentioned above, the KP-60 works completely as advertised. It
doesn't drop triggers. I have no earthly explanation why mine works
and everyone else's doesn't, but I stand behind my statement.

I also have a Peavey KB-100 75 watt keyboard amp, and a Crate KX-15
keyboard amp. The Crate I'll throw in just because. The Peavey has a
ding in the top, back edge where a mixer board took a fall on top of
it, but it works just fine and the ding isn't noticeable unless you
know it's there.

So the whole package will include the DTXpress kit with the extra pad
and mount, Tama IC Jr pedal, Peavey KB-100 amp, wires, and a Crate
KX-15 amp (that works just fine) for good measure.

$625 plus actual shipping takes everything. Shipping is from zip
33770. Keep in mind that the amp is HEAVY and will not be cheap to
ship. I will accept offers if you want to split it up or you are on a
shoestring budget. Don't ask me to sell only the brain. I don't want
to go through the hassle of trying to sell the pads and rack
separately.

I'm taking some classes to try and finish up a degree I started
several years ago so I need tuition money ;^}

Jim,

Say it isn't so. At least it's for a good cause, but you'll be
missed. I guess you can use the degree to swing the DTXtreme II.

Yeah, I'll miss 'em. My ankle's been acting up lately though and I
suspect it's my playing that's causing it. My right ankle is fused
and has a bunch of hardware in it. But alas, I'd really like to get
the degree out of the way. Wasn't like I was going to go on tour with
somebody or something...
