ummm... is this Spam or is this an example of some work by a member here?
Just curious since the included picture seems to show someone playing an
acoustic drum kit and I don't recognise either name as recent posters to
the group...?

Hi Vern,

I know what you mean. I think we want to make it clear that 
contributing and involved members are welcome to offer each other 
cracks at their used gear, and to offer each other glimpses into 
their musical lives.  But we certainly don't want to clutter up our 
time and board with advertising or self-reference--spam or otherwise-
-that serves no useful, or congenial, purpose here.
