Hey guys hows it going..
www.contois.com has the (DTXPRESS) for $979.00 and free shipping no tax charge
and includes the bass pedal... Don't know if that helps too much but I hope it
does.

Newbie Q's for Mac gurus.

2000-09-21 by pdk

Hi all, congratulations on 100 members...

I've had my DS10 for about a year now (love it to pieces) and so far have
had all I can handle just learning how to drum again--playing along with the
barfy built-in tunes, and my CDs. Now I'm ready to hook up to my Mac 7100
and dip my toe in some midi. Problem is, I don't know where to start. Is
there anybody out there who can provide a real simple overview? What
hardware, what software, etc. Just the basics about making the connection.

Thanks in advance.

Pete,

You'll find a very helpful walk-thru at

www.yamaha.co.jp/english/product/drum/dtx/dw/mac.html

complete with step by step instructions and colour illustrations.
