Hi Ed,

I tried factory reset and change the cable as you said but same result
occured
unfortunately. The pad acts like a single zone one again. There is no rim
sound at all.

I think, I'd better give a call to dealer...

Thanks,

Gokhan

Hello Gorkhan,

I assume that (1) you mean DTXpressII--not DTXv2.0, which is an
older, discontinued model; (3) that your cable is stereo; (4) that
the pad is set in the trigger menu, as stipulated above, for the
three-triggered snare; (4) and that you know how to view the correct
information in your voice menu when you hit and program the rims. If
you are getting rim information in the voice menu when you hit the
rims, check to make sure that gain is registering in the snare's
trigger menu when you hit them (a number from 1 to 99). If the rims
show voices when you hit them, and they have gain, but no do not make
noises different from the pad's center, then something may be amiss
in the module's signal path. Try a factory reset (you'll lose all
your user kits if you don't store them elsewhere first), and program
the rims again. Make sure that their volume is high enough to
register and that they aren't the same voice as the body of the pad
(snare). If the module still won't work, call Yamaha.

If you can't call up the rims in the voice menu by hitting them, try
another stereo cable to make sure that the first one isn't the
problem. If that doesn't work, you should get in touch with Yamaha.
FSRs, which are the rim triggers, do wear out, but not after a few
months. You should be able to get a new TP65S.

Ed

Gokhan
Just a shot in the dark. Have you recently had your pads off the rack,
and then replaced them. I don't know if the 65s is visibly different
from the rest. Perhaps you got the wrong one there? stranger things
have happened (to me).

I tried this but nothing changed.

The reason why I thought there could be a physical problem is that there is
no different response on the rims than the middle part of the pad. Besides,
rim sounds are already properly assigned (snare r1 etc.) in original setup,
but stupid thing won't recognize where I am hitting!!!

Also: "Since you have tried another cable and reset the unit, the pad is
probably the problem." This is the answer I got from Yamaha...

Thanks again - tesekk\ufffdrler...
