Re: [DTXpress] Song Pads

Re: [DTXpress] Song Pads

Thanks Andy - I'll play about with that.
Just one thing I forgot to mention about my "problem"
the other day. When I played the Song using the SONG
button, it came out using the correct sound! But using
a pad to trigger it - a different sound. Weird.

One day (when I've got the time), I'll try and
recreate the problem and see if I can figure out
what's going on.

I think I had this problem and it's because the pads songs only play on
channels 7,8,9,10 (I think but check the manual to be sure). If you record
your tracks only on these channels the pad song will play correctly...it
worked for me anyway.

hope this helps

Re: [DTXpress] Song Pads

I recall something similar happening to me too,
a song I recorded was different if triggered from a pad than if played as a
main song.

I can't remember what the difference was, it's just one of those ghost
memories I'm afraid.

Like much in the DTXpress, sometimes it's best not to ask why it does
something, but to try and use it to your advantage.
