I think the RRP is \ufffd999, but most shops sell it for
\ufffd899. This is still WAY too expensive compared to what
our US cousins pay, but that's rip-off Britain for
you.
Most shops should will match the price of a rival -
they don't sell that many DTXpress units and they'd be
glad to ged rid of them. If you can get it for 799 in
Poole, I reckon you'd be able to squeeze that out of
most shops in and around Poole / Bournemouth.

I got mine for 849 for no other reason than giving the
sales guy a cigarette. Weird.

PS. Anyone know the best prices on individual PADS.
Yammy, Pintech, Roland (anything as long as it works
with the DTXpress). Or is it best to "roll-your-own"

All,

I'd like to mention again that here in Toronto you can't get a DTXpress for
less than $1600 CAN. Hope that makes everyone feel better about what they
have to pay.

ps: It's one reason I bought the DS10 instead. If you're gonna pay that much
you might as well go the whole hog.

Hi - alse a (reltively) new member here. I am in UK, though
American. Was sent here by my company and like it very much. But to
the point. I bought my DTXpress in Atlanta Georgia on my last visit
to the US in August, and I paid $950 for the kit plus $150 for cases
to take it home with - a grand total of around £750 brand new.
Since
the thing works on DC, and the adapter that came with it was
American,
I just popped down to the local Yamaha keyboard store in Ipswich and
got a proper UK adapter for £10... and I am in business! So the
prices are not so much different than in Britain, though a little
less.

Tim
