Yamaha DTXpress/DTXplorer/DTXtreme

Dear All,

Does anyone have a clue how to use 2 separate kit names on tracks 1 & 2 of 
the sequencer for composing. For example, say track 1, GM Jazz, but track 2 
given over to a different kit, say vibes or something. It always seems to 
revert to whatever was played on track 1. Bad design !

The answer lies in the tips section of the website.

It's to do with having different MIDI channels for
each kit.

Sorry I can't be more specific but I'm due in a
meeting...(bah, work!)
