HH60 Clicking Noise

HH60 Clicking Noise

2003-10-16 by Michael Y.

The HH60 on my DTXPRESS 1
Has a minor clicking, noise. It only occurs when i press down and
release, when the rubber comes back up. This sound has nothing to
do with the electronics. I hear it when the pedal is completly
disconected from everything. Sometimes it clicks once, sometimes it
clicks twice. The pedal seems to work fine but is this sound normal?

Mike,

There is a mechanical spring noise upon release, a kind of prolonged
click, which appears to be completely normal. It wouldn't be audible
with amplification or with headphones, whether they are of the open
or closed variety. But don't get me started on the KP60. If that's
working out, you are truly blessed.
