Trouble with duel modules

Trouble with duel modules

2003-12-16 by Brett

Hello. all. Hope everyone is well.

I've encountered a problem that seems to be getting the best of me,
and can't seem to find the answer to my problem.

I've taken my two modules, and broken them down to module one used
for all percussion drums, and module two being used for cymbals.
Input #8 (the hi hat input) seems to having trouble assigning duel
layered voices. I've set all toms to T 001, pitch starting at -6,
decreaseing one value in pitch as toms move from Tom 1 down to Tom
7. This appears to working just fine. However, when I assign
another voice (t 020), all toms except tom 6 accept this, and
produces a completely different sound. For the life of me, I can't
figure out what the problem is. I thought maybe perhaps it was the
pad input type (hi hat) that was causing the problem. The pad type
while assigning voices says "open", and I wasn't sure that it was the
problem or not. Any suggestions? I'm at my wits end, and the answer
is certainly eluding me. Please help if possible!

Thanks for taking the time to read and help...

Brett
