3-Zone triggers

3-Zone triggers

2003-12-19 by G

Does a 3-zone snare or cymbal have to be plugged into a three zone
input? Can it be plugged into a 2-zone input? Does it use a regular
1/4" stereo jack?
What happens if you plug it into a 2-zone, which zone do you loose?

Dear Santa,

The three-voice snare/cymbal no more have to be connected to a three-
voice input than a stereo snare/cymbal have to be connected to a
stereo input. I would imagine that on the snare you'd lose the
rimshot switch and on the cymbal the bell. Regular 1/4" stereo does
the trick. You must have had many requests for them this Christmas.

Actually, what happens is that both switches behave as one. The ad
behaves as a standard stereo pad.
