DTXpressIIISP video demo

DTXpressIIISP video demo

2004-01-18 by jjcorley0000

I'm not sure if this has been posted yet, but a nice little video
demo of the DTXpressIIISP can be found here:

    http://namm.harmony-central.com/WNAMM04/Index/videos.html

(Also a video of the new Roland high end kit: V-Pro)

This video pretty much has me settling on the IIISP as the one
I'm gonna get... (well, after I play it in person to be sure) I
think the sound and features per $ is tough to beat.

Hi,
What is the difference between the SP and the regular?
The new DTXPRESS III seems awesome. However I think I'm gonna have
to save up a little bit before replacing my DTXPRESS1.

From Drumbalaya:

"Targeted to customer in the market for a higher-end option, the
DTXPRESSIII SPECIAL contains all the features of the DTXPRESSIII and
adds an ergonomic curved rack, three round multi-zone cymbal pads (3-
zone, 2-zone and mono), and a hi-hat controller including a real hi-
hat stand and an electronic pad. In addition, the DTXPRESSIII SPECIAL
ships complete with a drum throne and single bass drum pedal!"

You can see the full description here:
http://www.drumbalaya.com/

Links to the different models are on the front page.

Are you talking about the NAMM videos? If so, make sure that you have the
real player plugin. If you're using Mozilla on a Linux box, go to the menu
bar on top and select Help, then About Plugins. You may see that you don't
have the Real Player plugin. You'd have to download it and install it.
Click on the http://plugindoc.mozdev.org/ link and you should find the
information you need. It works on my linux box. I was impressed with the
work Roland has done on the hi-hat assembly, which is really great!
