cheapest way to get more pads?

cheapest way to get more pads?

2004-02-18 by kirkmangraham2000

Does anyone know of a shop that sells the new dtxpress III SP
without the module - And also the DTextreme module separate also so
that I can use them together. Also - can these two things be used
together?

Or does anyone know of the cheapest way to get more pads onto the
dtxpress III SP kit?

I could be wrong, but I don't imagine that many dealers at this stage
will be inclined to divide kit from module--unless you buy individual
pads, cymbals, and rack a la carte. In my experience, however, not
too many brick & mortar dealers stock the hardware and individual
components for the DTXpress. You'll have an easier time picking up a
module by itself. I would be really surprised if the DTXtreme module
couldn't accommodate the Xpress pads, but we won't know for sure what
the module's triggering program is until we see the manual. We might
be getting first crack at it. I suppose you could always buy the
entire DTXpress SP, sell its module, and buy the other one.
