Computer programming (MIDI)

I know we've discussed several different COMPUTER programs to configure the DTXpress II, but I'm having some difficulty finding anything to store ALL my settings from the DTXpressII brain. I've downloaded all the kits, individually, using the freeware from www.dtxpressions.com, DTXchange. Simple, but written like software should be...to the point. I'd like a program that could store/send ALL the bulk data, trigger settings,... basically everything. Just in case something crashes, I screw something up, I'd like to be able to restore. It would be cool to program kits on the comptuer. I found DTXport in the FILES area, but only a document about it. No info found during a Google search for DTXport. Maybe doesn't exist yet for publication? There's some talk about kit programming software that has also uncovered a bug in the firmware of all the DTXpress's (including the new III). It would be awesome to have a program that does it all!!! I've written all kinds of software. Don't know if I'd have the time to write something like this. I don't have any experience writing to/from a MIDI port, but would guess it to be like any other port. Does anyone know where to get DTXport? or DEXTD (seen as a screen- shot under FILES-UTILITIES)? OR, does someone need some assistance writing programs...I'm pretty good with VB. Bill Parker....drummer for 23 years p.s. I'm also an Electronics Engineer, Master's Degree
