it will arrive today. I have read alot on the subject and the major
probleme I have spot is the headphone volume probleme. Since I will
use only a headphone for now I'm a little scare of the result. Can you
give me any new information on that matter.

Thanks

Hi Tommy,

Your English is fine. Welcome to the group; nice to have you here.
The headphone volume level has been a source of minor discontent
since the first DTXpress. But it is not serious. You can certainly
make adjustments in the module to maximize the volume. Many people
are happy with the headphone volume; other people use a mixer with a
headphone jack or a dedicated headphone amp to eliminate stick noise
when they practice. If you decide to do so, you need not spend much
money. But, most important, don't worry. Check back when you get the
kit. We'll be here to help if you need anything.

I got tired of the pad noise and was afraid that I might damage my
hearing by cranking up the volume. So I bought a pair of Shure E2
isolating in-ear phones. They work like a charm. I can keep the volume
knob at about 1/3 of the maximum and the pad noise is almost
non-existant.
