As earlier posted in this forum there is another seller of DTXPress III standard kits at a rather attractive price (939 Euro). I didn´t do any deal with this store so far, but telling from his recent feedbacks it seems to be ok. Don´t know whether they would ship to other parts of Europe. http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3714096927&category=46611 Regards -Bongo-

EUR 939 is about £627 which is an excellent price. The seller does say he ships to Germany or Europe but only lists the postage cost for Germany (EUR 15 or £10) so it may be that postage elsewhere may be prohibitively high. I've emailed to ask. On a related note, I see that a German company Musik Produktiv (not Thomann for once) have the DTXpress IIISP listed on their site for EUR 1,490 (about £995) and they ship to the UK. The STD is EUR 975 (£652). UK shipping is EUR 13 (£9). http://tinyurl.com/2yzcx Chris

Hi Chris, actually Musik-Produktiv is only an hour away from where I live, so I know them quite well and also have purchased a couple of items over the recent years. They are well known for their store not so much for their webshop / shipping capabilities. That doesn´t mean that they are eventually good= in it. The store itself is huge, probably one of the biggest in Europe with franchised subcontractors in their facilities. Each of them representing a certain instrument (guitars, drums, PA - all the stuff even down to a shop for woodwinds, one for books and notes etc., they even offer a cafe, a stage area, a little museum ...). If you decide to place an offer tell us about how they performed. Regards -Bongo- --- In DTXpress@yahoogroups.com, "Chris" <proguk@h...> wrote:

Hi all Card behind the "virtual bar" so order yourself a drink ... Been looking at getting a kit for ages now - keep walking past one in the doorway of a local music shop ( but haven't the nerve to try it as it's right in the doorway ! ) Anyway - been looking on Ebay and secondhand MkII kits are going for nearly £700 so I'm wondering if this outfit in Germany that's doing the MKIII for £650 approx is worth looking at - has anyone bought a kit from abroad? - it's a lot of money to chance when you can't go and bang on the counter on a Saturday morning if it's not right. Anyone know the cheapest place in the UK where I might get a kit from ?? Thanks for your help guys Andy --- In DTXpress@yahoogroups.com, "bongokonzelmann" <carsten@h...> wrote: > Hi Chris, > > actually Musik-Produktiv is only an hour away from where I live, so I > know them quite well and also have purchased a couple of items over > the recent years. > They are well known for their store not so much for their webshop / > shipping capabilities.
