Hi,

Why can't I use the headphones output (in front) along with line-out jack 
(rear L and R jacks)?

You can.

Care to be more specific? Are you actually finding you can't, or you 
just think you can't?

Sorry, my question should have been : Why can't I use the rear output along 
with the Aux input?

When I connected the output and the Aux, I couldn't hear the Aux, I heard a 
beeps instead.

I'm still not too clear. This should work fine. I have a CD player 
connected to the AUX input, and the output goes off to the keyboard 
amp.

A sudden thought: you're not trying to connect the rear output back 
TO the AUX input are you?

I don't know guys, it's working well now. It might be because of the old 
cable which my friend took back !
