That is a good idea for the extra pad, but instead of mounting the dtx brain
on a bar stool, what i did is i used a single braced pearl cymbal stand,
took out the lower tubes, so i now have only the bottom part of the stand.
Then i inserted a gibralter tom mount, the kind with the l-arm and ball
socket. The module mounts to the l-arm, and works great. I can get it right
were i like it now.
