Gunny,
DTXtremeIIS arrives tomorrow! It's my 1st ekit, so I can't do 1st
hand comparisons, but will try to describe accurately according to
the "flavor" of the threads I've been reading

Thanks, Gunny. I would like to think that members of this group who
wrote formal reviews would publish them here first, though I could be
wrong. We happily contributed some of edrumming's first reviews. I
think that Stephen Brown's Zenbal review was actually the first, and
Zeiram used some of my review of Pintech's latest trigger assembly.
We've also donated information to edrumming that we saw turned into
yet another edrumming exclusive, even though it wasn't. That's not a
big deal; we're all in this wonderful world together. But we have a
will to live as well, along with our willingness to share. In some
ways, our entire forum is a review of Yamaha products, from the
DTXpress to the DTXtreme. In the absence of capsule versions, people
are always welcome to browse our archives. They don't even have to be
members. If we want information about Roland or Hart products, we
know where to go and get it. We'd like to think that those interested
in what Yamaha--and other companies with which we deal--have to offer
will feel welcome to come here as well.
