HH60 set up problem

HH60 set up problem

2004-07-10 by tholman503

I have a DTXpress 1 kit that is giving me troubles. I have had it
for a few years and never had any trouble other than the bass tower
going out, but thats a different story. My problem must be somewhere
in my HH60 set up in the module. I have stereo chords and have tried
it in the 9/10 spot ant received a signal fine. My pad type is set
to TP HH. The Trig Bypass is set right. I tried adjusting the Hi-
Hat Offset. I ended up doing a factory set (hated that) to attempt
getting my hi hat control back.

Any Ideas?
Thanks, THolman

Hi Tholman,

I think we need more symptoms. At its relatively advanced age, the
controller's internal mechanism and/or electronics could have
deteriorated. If you were using settings that worked before the
problem started, the most likely scenario is that the pedal stopped
making proper contact with the electronic elements. If that's the
case, DIY might be possible. It's unlikely that you need new
parameters, especially if the reset failed.
