Is the keyboard outputting erratic filter sweeps and self-oscillation? Is the noise used a LOT in patches? Are there akward patches that change every time the synth starts up? If these are correct, you have a battery problem. This can be fixed by replacing the taped battery with a soldered battery. VERY COMMON PROBLEM! Good luck!
