I just picked up another DW-8000 (to supplement the one I bought new in '85). It has the Angel City Turbo Option. Does anyone have a manual for how this works? (I figured out some of it). Also, I have an MEX-8000 memory expander and would love to have a manual for that as well. So you could have 4 different DWGS waveforms in a layer with a slight limitation of the selection of the waves available. I have never heard of anyone who burned an alternative waveform set for the DW. The Turbo 8000 also gave you 8 banks of the 64 patches , very convienient , and more MIDI options , such as the ability to send & receive on 2 different channels. > It was a simple install procedure , just plug in a chip inside the dw box. It was about $200. at the time. Maybe on Ebay. I still love my DW8000 & DW6000. > > mdmc > > > --------------------------------- > Do you Yahoo!? > New Yahoo! Photos - easier uploading and sharing
