OK, regarding the Turbo mod: --the hardware portion of the mod is pretty easy... replace the existing dw8000 rom with the turbo board, and clip the cheesy little test lead to IC 31, pin 2 or 5 (doesn't matter which). Make sure you've got the turbo board oriented correctly, and be sure you're connecting to the right pin. --the software is a bit more complicated ... it's possible to have a fully functioning turbo board installed that won't make any sounds, if it's not programmed correctly (the first dw8000 I bought was sold as "nonfunctioning" -- turns out it had a turbo board installed, and the patches weren't properly reprogrammed. Changed a few parameters, and everything worked fine). As for parts: what exactly are you looking for? If you need the turbo eprom, you might just be better off ordering a new board from Mustronics in europe (they still sell them for about $65 plus shipping). Have you read the turbo programming manual? it's in the files section. ~GMM --- In DW8000@yahoogroups.com, "hulkhoganpower" <joeschmoe1@c...> wrote: > Ok, so I just bought this dw-8000 with an angel city mod off > ebay...untested.
