Possible-as long the voltages are correct it doesn\ufffdt matter which type of Batteries are in use (why it should?). But, shame on me, what is difference between a "c" and a "d" cell? I only know aa/aaa, then their typical "german" designations: Mono, Baby, Mignon, Micro (Photo?) etc...
