HI Gang, Can anyone offer a little advice? I was using an older pc to run aruggeri's MIDI program but the pc started to crap out on me so I sprung for a newer model. I'm using the same Win98SE software but this sucker just won't load the MIDI software. I keep getting a message that the program destination is locked. I swear I've looked in the bios a dozen times to see if anything wasn't turned on but it looks ok. Only difference between the 2 pc's is I used a sound blaster card for the older pc but opted to use the 'on-board' sound board and port of the new pc. Outside of this, I'm begining to think the AMD processor of the older pc might be a little more software friendly than the new Intel. Any thoughts on this? Anyone ever have this problem? ....or a fix? This is a stand alone pc. No internet, just me & my music, some mp3's and recording software. Thanks.
