DW8000 for Sale

DW8000 for Sale

2004-06-19 by cwurld

Hi All,

I have a DW8000 that has not been used for at least 5 years. About 2
months ago I tried to use it, but it seems that the battery that
powers the memory died. So all the sounds have been lost. I checked
the battery with a DVM and it seems OK.

I tried to load the sounds using that WAV file of the original
sounds tape, but I did not have any luck. I just don't have the time
to mess with it. So I want to get rid of it.

I am tempted to just take it out to the curb. But if some one wants
to make it worth my while, I would be willing to take it to UPS,
have them pack it and I would send it out.

So here is the deal, if someone is willing to send me a check for
$250, once the check is cashed, I would send it. I would pay for
shipping.

Just a reminder...it does NOT work right now. You may never be able
to get it to work. Once I ship it, I want to forget it. I am not
sure this is a good deal. But it seems like a lot of you have a real
passion for the DW8000, so I want to make this offer before I bring
it to the curb.

$250 is imo way too much for a defect DW-8000...

I believe that even this -working one- will not reach the $200-mark.....

Re: DW8000 for Sale

2004-06-25 by mrtidydolphin

Mine is in the best condition possible, with a hardshell case, and
it even came with the original Korg reading material (!): warranty
card, list of authorized dealers and service centers, laminated
program card, electronic receipt, handwritten receipt, ORIGINAL
MANUAL in good condition (complete with the cool blue print), and 4
pages of notes on how to get around for the first few days of using,
all for $150 and $30 shipping or so.

$250 is way too much. I wouldn't expect much more than what I paid
for mine, even with all the crap it came with.
