Hi Bill: I'm in Houston, work down near the Galleria and live up north off of 59. Are there any other Houstonians here? We've done wet b/w work and we're excited about doing it the digital way. The only digital b/w print that I have ever seen is the little sample that came from inkjetmall.com. That looked nice, but I'm sure there are better examples. It only got a so-so response from my family. Perhaps at the PMA show someone might be giving out BIG samples! Anyway I think it would be great to organize a Houston group. Perhaps we should see if there are any other locals on the group. I know that the Houston Fotofest is coming up next month. I don't know if there are any digital prints there...perhaps there might be some local folks that might not be on this list...or maybe some folks on the list are traveling to Houston. I've never been to a Fotofest, so I don't know if that is an event that people from all over go to. I requested the report from the Seattle meeting and it looks like one of the main features was that everyone could see lots of examples of nice prints, along with talking about methods, etc. Oh, they had door prizes too... Anyway have fun at the PMA show and I'm sure that we can get some kind of group going in Houston. Oh, and with summer coming up we will be able to test Mr. Kravit's theory on our humidity's adverse effects on inket prints! ;-) -John
