You have to switch the chips.  They are on plastic carriers that slide out sideways.  Keep track of the chip positions.  You might want to use a Sharpie to mark the chip carriers.

For the PKN position, you'll want to have an empty cart.  Since you're not using the Eb6-Y, it makes sense to buy an empty 1400 Y position cart from MIS.  That way you'll have that chip and the empty cart for the PKN position.

Note that while I suggest MIS UT14-C may be a less expensive PKN, the HP PK prints more smoothly with my 1400.

Good luck with the setup.  It worked very well for me.  The only change I'm making this year is to add the MIS LK because I need sepia now.
