Epson 1400 beginner question
2010-04-26 by thomkrahn
I am setting up my Epson 1400 using Paul Roark's Eboni 1400 directions. I am confused by the following: B. Ink Positions The inks are as follows (from left to right in the 1400): Y = Eb6-LM (6% Eboni, 94% clear base; LLK density) K = Eboni MK (MIS Associates carbon matte black ink) LC = Eb6-M (18% Eboni; LK density) LM = Eb6-LC (9% Eboni) M = Eb6-C (30% Eboni) C = PKN (Neutralized photo black: HP Z3100 PK13 or MIS UT14-C) I have put the Eb6-LM cartridge in the Y position. Do I also need to switch the chip from a Y cartridge onto this cartridge, or do I keep the LM chip on it? Thank you for your help. Tom Krahn [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
