I've had ultrasonic humidifiers that promised to be free of mineral dust but that wasn't the case. I think next winter I'll try a slant fin humidifier with UV light. It's not expensive and it's worth a try. If I were in a large room or studio in a very dry climate I would try constructing a humidity controlled space in a cabinet or closet for the printers if needed.
