Richard, Thanks for the suggestion and the link.  I may give that a try if I 
don't find a matte paper that offers similar attributes.  There are
sooo many out there that surely there is one that is similar to the  Mueso 
Silver Rag.  Heck; I can't really afford to buy it anyway!!

You could spray the sheet to protect it and stop the smudging.
